👣 The First Footin’ Tradition: Walk into Prosperity

Hogmanay is an ancient Scottish tradition celebrating goodwill and good fortune. By joining our “First Footin’” walk, you are adopting a ritual that promises good health, good crops, and good fortune for the coming year! Just as the traditional “first footer” carries a gift, you are literally walking into a new year of luck and abundance.

Schedule for Your New Beginning:

  • 10:00 AM: Arrival
  • Step Off for the First Footin’ Walk! A vigorous 2.25-mile journey around our historic sites, trails, and farm grounds, stopping along the way to share fascinating history and folklore. (Wear comfortable walking shoes!)
  • 12:00 PM: Stone Soup Blessing and Gathering. A communal luncheon steeped in tradition and fellowship.
