Ultra Five K TRAIL RACE
Coinciding with the 20th Annual Rural Hill Scottish Festival, the Ultra 5K Trail Race will wind its way down and back along the North and South-western portions of Rural Hill’s ambitious woodland trail. Expect roots, rocks, open fields, uneven ground, and the possibility of mud in some areas. The fast yet challenging course is best described as “rolling” with two larger climbs. An excellent introduction to the wonderful world of trail racing, the Rural Hill Ultra Five K is the perfect event to get your pulse pounding without leaving you too shaky to enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Your race entry grants you full access to the Scottish Festival! Activities and events range from professional heavy athletics and highland dancing, shopping, whisky seminars, historic re-enactments, massed pipe band performances, incredible food and beverages, seven musical acts on two stages, a huge kid’s zone, an exclusive Saturday Night Jam and tons more! Bring your friends and family and make the most out of the day! Camping* is available as well!
